How deep do you grind?
Standard is 8–12″ below grade — enough for sod, seed, or a fence post. If you’re planning a garden bed or patio, we can go deeper on request.
Do you clean up the wood chips?
Chips can stay (they make great mulch), or we can haul them off for an add-on fee. We’ll also backfill with black dirt if you’d like.
Will the stump grow back?
Grinding stops most species. A few — like poplar, elm, and buckthorn — can send up shoots. We’ll flag those and recommend a follow-up treatment if needed.
How soon can you come out?
Most jobs are scheduled within a week. Storm damage and commercial emergencies move to the front of the queue.
